I had two fusion back surgeries, one in Feb. and one in Mar. of this year. I have used a walker, cane and bought a Dorsi strap. I cannot wear it as my foot and leg is so swollen and it rubs me raw. Have used moleskin but rubs off. Been to many doctors and had many tests and nothing is working for me. I am so depressed and don' t know what to do next. I gave away 13 pair of shoes as they all have said I will have to wear sneakers the rest of my life and I do not like sneakers as my feet feel so confined. Please sugest something I will be happy with. Thank you so much. Ann

Yesterday I put on the brace with sandals which have openings in the straps. I put the hooks into the holes from the inside out, underneath the straps of the sandals. I was able to walk faster while pushing my cart at the store. Plus I wore it the entire day with no problems. As I said, I lined the inside with moleskin to avoid irritation.

I have the Freedom Walk brace and I like it. However, if I do not wear a sock, my ankle is irritated. So I covered the inside with a layer of moleskin. I am using the brace with old slippers, as well.

Hello, I just found your site and am excited to place an order. However, I did have one question. I see in one of the pictures a person wearing heels with it. Did I see correctly? I would love to be able to wear some kind of heel when getting dressed up. Thanks, Sue

Hello Chris: I just received my order last night. I started slow with the Drop Foot Brace. Feels strange (GOOD strange) not feeling the stiff plastic against my leg. I have had drop foot for 16 year during a small back surgery. The surgeon decided to mess up the nerve in my back. Sorry for all you have been through to invent this brace to free us up. Thank you, it is something I will enjoy getting used to. Will be ordering the barefoot brace.
